Who This Is For
This service is designed for children who need additional support to fully participate in school or daycare environments. It is especially helpful for children who require structured in-class assistance to stay engaged with learning, routines, and peer interactions.
It is commonly used for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, developmental delays, or behavioural challenges, as well as children who benefit from individualized support to build independence in a classroom setting.

What sessions look like
Our aides guide children step-by-step through classroom routines, provide prompts and encouragement as needed, and gradually foster independence. Support is adjusted in real time to match the child’s pace and comfort level.

The minimum requirement for this service is 6 hours per week, typically split up over 2 days, up to full-time support if needed.
Yes. Part of the role is to collaborate with teachers, daycare educators, and other staff to share strategies that help your child succeed in routines and interactions. The aide can model techniques that teachers and educators can use when the aide is not there.
